What the Government is Doing to Help Mesothelioma Victims

     The Government has been involved largely in mesothelioma victim restitution. The year 2003 alone accounted for nearly one hundred thousand asbestos claims. Due to this, the Senate has initiated a debate on setting up a $114 billion dollar fund for asbestos victims. If this bill is passed, it would mean speedier compensation without taking cases to court. As the compensation amount involved in this class action civil litigation is high and can cost upwards of a few million dollars, many countries including the U.S. have laid down stipulations to help speed the mesothelioma claims through the court system. This also makes the mesothelioma attorney's job a lot easier.
